Website customization vs rebuild: which do I need?

Customize if your current site loads quickly, you can edit it yourself, and the problem is specific: a missing page, an unclear offer, a form that goes nowhere. Rebuild if the site is slow on phones, locked into a builder you can’t change, or its structure no longer matches what you sell.

A quick test: open your site on your phone over mobile data and try to contact yourself. If the page stalls or it takes more than a few taps, the problem is usually the foundation, not the wording.

Customizing keeps your content and your search history, and costs less. A rebuild costs more up front, but it can fix speed, accessibility and ownership in one go. You keep your domain, and old addresses can be redirected so search rankings carry over.

Either way, start from what the site needs to do for the business: bring in calls, take bookings or answer pricing questions before someone picks up the phone.
